Last weekend, I took a trip out to the countryside with some friends. Along the way, I stumbled across this very unusual, incongruous crossing sign. We’re in Vietnam, where the average Vietnamese feels disturbingly comfortable wearing pajamas in public. So where the Ministry of Transportation got this silhouette of a Victorian era couple, him in a derby and a walking stick, her in a chic upsweep and stylish skirt, I have no idea. I certainly haven’t seen anyone dressed like them anywhere in this country (or honestly, in any other country, for that matter).
